Sight (visible painting) measurements 34cm x 40cm (13.4” x 15.7”). Frame 51cm x 56cm (20” x 22”) The hazy, dust-filled light and movement in this painting are what appeal most to us about this painting. The machine appears to be a late 19th century grain fanning mill or winnowing machine.
