Wedgwood Serving Plate, Hand Painted Floral Design, Signed by Artist

This is a vintage World War 2 hand painted serving plate, made by Wedgwood, England in 1943. Floral design – hand painted yellow, pink and purple flowers and green leaves over white china, signed by the artist, signature hard to be read. Back stamped with the Wedgwood unicorn mark and letter B, that refers to the permitted class of ware produced under the Wartime Concentration Scheme. Impressed mark with 3 numbers, showing month and year of manufacturing – May, 1943.
