Wilmot Pilsbury Watercolour – Woodland Scene

Wilmot Pilsbury RBSA, RWS (1840-1908) was a painter of landscape and domestic genre in watercolour. Born in Dorking Surrey; studied at Birmingham School of Art and South Kensington Schools; pupil of J.Walker. Became Headmaster of Leicester School of Art. Exhibited 68 works at the Fine Art Society, 39 at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham,6 at the RA but mainly at the RWS where he showed 250 works.
